Procurement is executed within the Purchasing Department’s strategy and procedures, aimed at acquiring products and services—through various modalities and strategies—at the best quality, delivery time, and most competitive price, utilizing optimal tools to maximize resource efficiency and build a network of strategic partners during the process. **Key Responsibilities:** * Understand internal processes of key divisions related to the business’s core activities requiring your services, and propose improvements to inter-departmental collaboration processes. * Timely fulfillment of purchase/service/material orders requested by all Company divisions, plus corresponding follow-up on invoicing for issued orders. * Evaluation and submission for approval of quotations based on price, quality, delivery performance, and payment terms, as well as internal policies and procedures—including compliance standards. * Solicit and select suppliers according to technical and commercial requirements specified by the requesting department. * Review and evaluate performance of suppliers for critical products and services such as tools, PPE, etc. * Conduct timely periodic evaluations of recurring suppliers. * Identify opportunities for third-party service agreements to enhance Company productivity. **Requirements (General and Specific Knowledge):** * Minimum 3 years’ experience in similar roles, preferably in industrial goods and services procurement within mining consumables, parts and equipment, construction parts, and related sectors. * Intermediate-level Microsoft Office proficiency (Advanced Excel) * Database management skills. * Lotus Notes user-level proficiency. * Basic English proficiency. * Knowledge of procurement procedures, supplier management, and negotiation. * ERP logistics knowledge (BPCS). * Basic logistics knowledge. * University degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related fields. **It all starts with people.** The world needs metals and minerals for the energy transition and our cities and infrastructure must be developed to serve a growing population.
