We are seeking a **Data Science Consultant** to provide technical leadership and strategic expertise in machine learning and artificial intelligence, guiding the design, development and implementation of advanced ML/AI solutions for our clients. This role connects business needs with innovative AI technologies, ensuring impactful delivery and fostering AI adoption across organizations. *We accept* *CVs in English only.* **Responsibilities** * Provide technical leadership and strategic direction in ML and AI for client engagements * Plan, design and deliver responsible AI systems and measurement strategies aligned with client objectives * Connect across organizational verticals to drive AI adoption and envision new products, solutions and differentiators * Engage with clients to understand business challenges and communicate how ML/AI solutions address their needs * Collaborate with data scientists and engineers, leading teams as both a peer and mentor * Monitor advancements in ML/AI technologies and recommend new approaches considering regulatory impacts * Act as liaison between business, legal and technology stakeholders within EPAM and client organizations * Shape ML solutions, scope and price engagements, and lead transitions from sales to delivery phases * Foster strong client relationships through effective project delivery, communication and issue resolution * Engage executive and C\-level stakeholders to drive enterprise\-wide AI adoption * Support sales and pre\-sales activities by assessing data opportunities, responding to RFPs and creating proposals **Requirements** * Extensive experience in a leadership role within Data Analytics, Machine Learning and AI (minimum 12 years) * Proven track record designing and implementing ML/AI solutions * Deep understanding of machine learning including deep learning, statistics fundamentals, human\-computer interaction, CNN/RNN, transformer models, LLMs (RAG), privacy\-preserving ML and security fundamentals * Demonstrated experience driving multidisciplinary and geographically distributed teams to deliver AI products * Comfortable engaging and influencing senior stakeholders to secure funding or sell ML/AI projects * Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non\-technical audiences * Proficiency in Python and ML libraries/frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow * Skills in SQL and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure or GCP * Familiarity with highly regulated industries or technology\-adjacent regulatory functions * Excellent problem\-solving skills and ability to translate complex business requirements into practical ML/AI solutions **We offer** * Learning Culture \- We want you to be the best version of yourself, that is why we offer unlimited access to learning platforms, a wide range of internal courses, and all the knowledge you need to grow professionally * Health Coverage \- Health and wellness are important, that is why we have you and up to four family members in a premiere health plan.
