Position Purpose Perform activities related to sorting, segregation, selection, and compaction of recyclable material, ensuring proper utilization, order, and cleanliness of work areas, while meeting operational standards and health and safety requirements. Main Responsibilities Receive, select, and classify recyclable materials according to type (plastic, cardboard, PET, metals, etc.). Separate usable from non-usable materials. Feed the baler press and operate the equipment following safety regulations. Form, tie, and label compacted bales according to plant standards. Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions. Report any contaminated, hazardous, or prohibited materials. Handle materials using safe lifting techniques. Properly use PPE and comply with HSE procedures. Report any incidents, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions. Meet assigned daily production and quality targets.
