Position Purpose Carry out the activities of sorting, separating, selecting, and compacting recyclable materials, ensuring proper utilization, order, and cleanliness of work areas, while complying with operational standards and safety and health requirements. Main Responsibilities * Receive, select, and classify recyclable materials according to their type (plastic, cardboard, PET, metals, etc.). * Separate usable from non-usable materials. * Feed the compactor press and operate the equipment following safety regulations. * Form, tie, and label compacted bales according to plant standards. * Keep the work area clean, organized, and free of obstructions. * Report any contaminated, hazardous, or prohibited materials. * Handle materials using safe lifting techniques. * Assist in unloading, moving, and storing materials. * Properly use PPE and comply with HSE procedures. * Report any incidents, unsafe acts, or unsafe conditions. * Meet assigned daily production and quality targets.
