Senior Accounting Business Partner

Date Posted: 2025\-09\-11 Country: Colombia Location: LOC42001: Otis Colombia \- Bogotá Calle 140 No 12b \- 25, Bogotá We are looking for a Public Accounting professional with an active professional license, responsible for financial, accounting, and tax processes, providing support to Colombia and the countries in the Southern Zone. This role will provide direct support to the Regional CFO in strategic decision-making, tax planning, and risk management, while contributing to regional financial efficiency and compliance with both local and corporate regulations. On a typical day, you will be responsible for:* Supervising and managing accounting operations, including fixed assets, account reconciliations, and intercompany transactions in Colombia and other countries within the Southern Zone. * Ensuring compliance with local accounting standards, US GAAP, and tax regulations across all jurisdictions. * Coordinating and reviewing financial reports for internal stakeholders and external regulatory bodies. * Leading, reviewing, and approving account reconciliations. * Preparing, certifying, and signing financial statements. * Supporting external audits and internal control processes. * Advising management on financial and tax planning. * Preventing legal and financial risks through proper documentation and reporting. Requirements for success in this role:* Professional degree in Public Accounting with CPA or CIA certification. * Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial areas and accounting teams, with strong tax experience. * Fluency in English and Spanish. * Advanced skills in Excel and Power BI, experience with ERP systems such as JD Edwards, and knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP. * Analytical thinking, attention to detail, leadership and communication skills, ability to collaborate across departments, and problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
