Job Summary: We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support operational activities of the food service, including preparation, setup, portioning, cleaning, and compliance with hygiene standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance in preliminary food preparation and ingredient setup 2. Responsible for washing and disinfecting utensils and work areas 3. Compliance with hygiene and food safety regulations Colegio San Jorge de Inglaterra, located in Bogotá’s Suba locality, is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support operational activities of the food service. The selected candidate will be responsible for assisting with preliminary food preparation, ingredient setup, portioning, washing and disinfecting utensils, equipment, and work areas, as well as complying with hygiene, food safety, and good manufacturing practices. The candidate must also support kitchen organization, proper waste handling, and other duties inherent to the position. Requirements: High school diploma, with prior experience as a kitchen assistant, preferably in schools. Preference given to candidates residing in Suba, Usaquén, or areas near the northern edge of Bogotá. Competencies: Responsibility, teamwork, service-oriented attitude, orderliness, cleanliness, attention to detail, and willingness to support various departmental activities.
