Exposure to international projects and professional development. About the Role We are looking for a Senior Electrical Supervisor to join our technical team in the renewable energy sector. The position focuses on electrical supervision of utility-scale photovoltaic projects, with involvement in projects across Colombia, Central America, and the Caribbean. The role combines field work and technical coordination, with responsibility for full electrical oversight of solar power plants—from generation through interconnection to the electrical grid. ️ What will you do? Your key responsibilities will include: Technical supervision of electrical systems in photovoltaic plants (inverters, transformers, medium-voltage lines, and substations). Field verification of compliance with electrical design specifications, applicable regulations (RETIE, NTC, IEC), and execution quality. Supervision of electrical installations, equipment assembly, cabling, protection systems, and SCADA systems. Coordination and tracking of grid interconnection processes with network operators. Leadership of commissioning activities and electrical testing (FAT, SAT, functional tests, and energization). Quality control (QA/QC), management of non-conformities, and technical approvals. Monitoring of electrical construction schedules and progress, identifying deviations and proposing corrective actions. Technical documentation management (as-builts, reports, delivery dossiers). Coordination with clients, contractors, grid operators, and multidisciplinary teams. Supervision of compliance with electrical safety and environmental regulations. What are we looking for? We seek a technically strong candidate with solid experience in electrical projects and proven leadership capabilities in the field: Electrical Engineering degree (mandatory) with active professional registration. 5–8 years of experience in electrical projects, including at least 3–5 years supervising utility-scale photovoltaic plants. Experience with medium-voltage lines, electrical substations, and grid interconnection processes. Advanced knowledge of power electrical systems, protection systems, and regulations (RETIE, NTC, IEC, CREG). Experience in electrical commissioning and system testing. Proficiency with technical tools (AutoCAD, MS Project, electrical measurement equipment). Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and ability to work under pressure.
