Job Description **Role:** * Software Quality Tester **What We’re Looking For in You:** * Professional or Technologist in Systems or related fields, or 1 year of relevant experience. * Knowledge of quality fundamentals and standards, and types of **software testing.** * **Experience executing manual and regression software tests.** * **Knowledge of API testing (Postman, SOAPUI).** * **Desirable knowledge of Automated Testing.** * **Familiarity with programming/scripting/markup languages such as: Java, JavaScript, JSON, HTML/CSS.** * **Proficiency in Oracle, MySQL, and PL/SQL database management.** * Desirable knowledge of defect-tracking tools. * Excellent communication skills, capable of conveying ideas quickly and clearly. **Training:** * **Technical and functional knowledge of iCS.** * **Software quality management.** * **Types of software testing.** * **Information security management.** * **Effective communication and client handling.** * **Intermediate English.** **Some of Your Responsibilities Will Include:** * Apply and maintain the development and quality standards and methodologies implemented within the organization. * Meet organizational metrics according to the process in which you operate, adhering to internal procedures for certification and release deployment. * Collaborate closely with functional teams to select optimal alternatives addressing end-user needs. * Execute and keep updated the tools provided by the organization for assigned tasks. * Understand issues raised by our clients and support practical solutions. * Perform quality controls on the product. * Prepare documentation related to release projects. * Support execution and implementation of assigned projects. * Plan the testing process, defining its scope, objectives, and methodologies to ensure comprehensive coverage. * Develop detailed test cases to validate software functionality. These cases cover diverse scenarios and user interactions, helping uncover potential issues. * Ensure preparation of the test environment and required tools for product testing and validation. * Systematically execute tests to identify errors, failures, and inconsistencies. Document findings meticulously, including steps to reproduce defects. * Report defects using specialized error-tracking tools, providing developers with necessary information for effective resolution. * Conduct regression testing to ensure new features or changes do not introduce new defects or disrupt existing functionality. * Perform performance testing, evaluating software speed, scalability, and reliability under various conditions—such as high user loads—as appropriate for the assigned activity. * Collaborate with end users to conduct usability testing, ensuring software meets user expectations and business requirements. * Ensure quality is integrated across all stages of the software lifecycle, emphasizing prevention over detection. * Ensure the quality objective is to provide adequate assurance that software products meet specific needs and established plans. * Perform comprehensive and regression manual testing after each update and prior to releasing a new software version. * Document test results per internal procedures. * Review technical documentation and end-user manuals during the certification process. * Support creation of corrective actions to improve development lifecycle phases. **What We Offer:** * Development and training plan. * Complementary plan. * Allowances (Education, Internet). **Employment Conditions:** * Work Location: Chía – Cundinamarca. * Work Modality: Hybrid (90% remote – 10% onsite); additionally, our offices remain available if you prefer to work onsite. * Contract Type: Indefinite-term contract. * Salary: To be agreed upon based on experience.
