Apply here to launch an extraordinary career today.** **Responsibilities:** * Track proper execution of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) * Support induction processes for new workers and assess their knowledge of safety procedures * Logistics coordination for trainings and area-related events * Development of safety procedures * Adaptation of AES Corp. standards to the AES Colombia context * Update documentation of the AES Colombia safety management system: documentation is categorized into policies, procedures, instructions, forms, strategic documents, and presentations * Maintain updated area information on intranet and extranet * Update safety procedure evaluations * Update procedure presentation materials * Update hazard and risk matrix * Develop indicators required by the Safety Management System, including personnel profiles, results, action plans, and user training within the area for indicator follow-up * Create databases * Develop internal area process flowcharts * Publish content on the corporate platform to communicate safety area activities * Safety motivational campaigns * Upload, track, and close findings via the SGI platform * Publish improvements to reporting slides for dissemination of report enhancements on the corporate platform and virtual channels (screens) * Improvement Actions Indicator Database: To define the result of the Safety Management System’s Improvement Actions Indicator * Support activities of the Safety Management System **General Requirements:** Industrial Engineering student (with completed coursework) **Availability:** Full-time, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM **Accommodation:** On-site camp **Meals:** Cafeteria (AES covers 100% of meals) **Transportation:** From Santa María to Bogotá and Tunja, and vice versa, on Mondays and Fridays, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM One compensatory day granted every two weeks **Internship Area:** Industrial Safety **Duration of Assignment:** One (1) year **Economic Support:** $3,501,810 **Work Location:** Chivor Hydroelectric Plant, Santa María, Boyacá **Maximum Resume Submission Date:** March 6, 2026 **We are the energy that improves the lives of over 10 million people through the many benefits electricity provides.**
