The **Purchasing Analyst** supports the management of the national procurement process, ensuring timely and compliant supply of raw materials, inputs, packaging, and services required by operations. This role is critical to guaranteeing operational continuity, inventory control, documentary traceability, and compliance with the company’s quality, food safety, and internal control standards. **To succeed in this position**, a highly organized, analytical, and detail-oriented individual is required—one capable of managing information, documentation, and supplier follow-up in a dynamic and regulated environment. Strong skills in cross-functional coordination with various internal departments and handling multiple requests simultaneously are essential. **Responsibilities** * Support national procurement of raw materials, inputs, packaging, and services, ensuring timely and compliant supply aligned with operational requirements. * Manage and track quotations, purchase orders, goods receipts, and associated documentation, ensuring process consistency and traceability. * Review and update inventory records for inputs and materials, contributing to appropriate stock rotation and availability. * Request, review, and manage suppliers’ technical and quality documentation in accordance with applicable internal and regulatory requirements. * Support supplier management and follow-up, including handling incidents, non-conformities, and closure actions. * Maintain up-to-date purchasing department documentation, ensuring its availability for internal and external audits. * Coordinate and respond to internal departments’ procurement requests, maintaining clear and timely communication. * Support the identification, registration, and updating of supplier information per established guidelines. * Comply with and promote applicable quality, food safety, occupational health and safety (OHS), and ethics management system requirements within the procurement process. * Record purchases in the system. **Requirements** * Minimum qualification: Technical degree or university degree in Administrative Sciences, Industrial Engineering, Food Science, Logistics, or related fields. * Minimum **1 to 2 years** of experience in administrative support or analysis roles within procurement, supply chain, or supplier management processes. * Knowledge of national procurement management, quotation handling, purchase order processing, and supplier follow-up. * Proficiency in office tools, especially **Intermediate-level Excel** (tables, filters, data management). * Ability to manage information, documentation, and records with a high degree of organization and attention to detail. * Strong ability to communicate clearly and promptly with suppliers and internal departments. * Capacity to work effectively in dynamic environments involving multiple concurrent demands and a sense of urgency. * Interest and willingness to work under quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance frameworks (experience in food companies will be valued). * Ethical, responsible conduct with a strong internal service orientation. **We offer:** * Initial salary for the new position: $2,000,000 + statutory benefits. * Direct employment contract with the Company: fixed-term (for services or labor), becoming indefinite after one year. * Supplementary health plan: effective after completing six consecutive months with the Company (for the employee only). * Discount on products from our Karavansayy brand portfolio, deducted via payroll. * Family days as stipulated by law. * Annual training plan. * Monthly payroll payment on the 30th of each month via bank transfer—Davivienda or Bancolombia payroll accounts accepted. * Work schedule based on 44 hours per week. * Monday to Thursday: 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM / Friday: 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM (one-hour lunch break). * Occasional availability for overtime or one Saturday per month may be required (additional compensation applies). * Work location: Warehouse 2 (office): Cra. 27 #68-73, Los Alcázares neighborhood, Bogotá. * Work modality: On-site.
