Proficiency in accounting software and financial tools. **JOB OFFERING – PUBLIC ACCOUNTANT** An engineering and project-based company is seeking a **Public Accountant** with experience in accounting and tax processes, bank reconciliations, electronic invoicing, financial statements, payroll, and accounting software. **Required Profile:** A graduate in Public Accounting, preferably holding a valid professional license, with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in accounting or finance positions. The candidate must be organized, responsible, analytical, capable of handling confidential information, and committed to meeting tax and accounting deadlines. **Main Responsibilities:** * Record, review, and control the company’s accounting information. * Perform bank reconciliations and analysis of accounting accounts. * Prepare and submit tax information to the National Tax and Customs Directorate (DIAN) and other competent authorities. * Support the preparation of financial statements and accounting reports. * Review invoicing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and accounting supporting documents. * Support payroll, social security, and social benefits processes when required. * Monitor compliance with tax, accounting, and financial obligations. * Ensure proper archiving and documentary control of accounting information. * Support internal and external audits, as well as regulatory authority requirements. * Comply with the company’s internal policies and current accounting regulations. **Desirable Knowledge:** Proficiency in accounting software, intermediate or advanced Excel, electronic invoicing, reconciliations, national and municipal taxes, payroll, social security, and applicable accounting standards.
