At Cardif Colombia, the **RESERVING ACTUARY** ------------------------ performs a highly technical and strategic role focused on ensuring the adequacy, stability, and robustness of technical reserves in a portfolio characterized by a high volume of policies, a significant frequency of claims, and large-scale distribution models. **Primary Objective:** Prepare actuarial closings. Carry out technical activities aimed at controlling actuarial risk reserves. **Main Responsibilities:** Prepare and analyze monthly estimated and actual actuarial closings for Head Office and Local Offices. Consolidate technical closing data and monthly data warehouse inputs. Perform calculations and analyses related to premium reserves, claim reserves, or profit-sharing reserves. Receive, consolidate, and validate claim and production databases both accounting- and technically. Ensure timely submission of regulatory reports and reports required by Head Office and Company Management. **Professional Profile:** Professionals with degrees in Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or Engineering. Specialized technical knowledge required in: * Deep actuarial expertise Solid understanding of reserve theory for group life, debtor, payment protection, unemployment, disability, and other insurance lines aligned with the Cardif model. Practical experience in IBNR, mathematical reserves, and in-force risk reserves. Ability to assess reserve adequacy under various stress scenarios. * Strong data handling skills High capacity for analysis of large-scale databases. Advanced use of Excel, SQL, R and/or Python for modeling, automation, and quality control. * Accounting and regulatory knowledge Familiarity with accounting standards and local regulations.
