This opportunity is onsite. **The Role.** Wood Colombia is seeking an Electrical Engineer or related professional with 10–15 years of specific engineering project experience in the Oil & Gas sector to serve as an Electrical Engineer. Work location: Bogotá. Proficiency in tools such as: Office Suite, Microsoft 365, Autodesk DWG Trueview, Autodesk Navisworks Freedom, Fusionlive, ETAP, DIALUX, 7\-Zip, Adobe Acrobat Reader. **Our Clients and Projects.** Designing the future. Development and/or review of electrical discipline deliverables. * Conducting site visits for data collection and information gathering required for project development. On-site accompaniment for verification of subcontractor work. * Coordination and preparation of terms of reference and bid evaluations for subcontract packages generated within the project related to specific electrical discipline topics. * Maintaining design integrity per established standards and guidelines, ensuring consistency and technical accuracy across all designs. * Executing any other responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor and aligned with company needs. **What Makes You Extraordinary?** At Wood, we are committed to equal opportunity and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. **Requirements:** * Minimum English proficiency of 75% preferred. * Colombian Technical Regulation for Electrical Installations (RETIE), NTC2050, NFPA70, API500, and other national and international standards applicable to the electrical discipline. * Development of electrical discipline scope deliverables, such as: design criteria, specifications, data sheets, requisitions, calculations, single-line diagrams, layout drawings, studies, etc. * Interdisciplinary documentation for project integrity (review). * Technical management of subcontracts. * Cathodic protection. * Resistivity and electrical studies, among others. * Technical knowledge required to provide immediate solutions to clients. * Advanced use of ETAP and DIALUX software. **Preferred:** * Positive attitude and teamwork orientation. * Communication and active listening skills. * Initiative. * Attention to detail. * Results orientation. * Leadership.
