This opportunity is onsite. **The Role.** Wood Colombia is seeking an Electrical Engineer or related professional with 10–15 years of specific engineering project experience in the Oil & Gas sector to serve as an Electrical Engineer. Work location: Bogotá. Development and/or review of electrical discipline deliverables. * Conducting site visits for data collection and information gathering required for project development. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. **Requirements:** * Minimum English proficiency of 75% preferred. * Colombian Technical Regulation for Electrical Installations (RETIE), NTC2050, NFPA70, API500, and other national and international standards applicable to the electrical discipline. * Development of electrical discipline scope deliverables, such as: design criteria, specifications, data sheets, requisitions, calculations, single-line diagrams, layout drawings, studies, etc. * Interdisciplinary documentation for project integrity (review). * Technical management of subcontracts. * Cathodic protection. * Resistivity and electrical studies, among others. * Technical knowledge required to provide immediate solutions to clients. * Advanced use of ETAP and DIALUX software. **Preferred:** * Positive attitude and teamwork orientation. * Communication and active listening skills. * Initiative. * Attention to detail. * Results orientation. * Leadership.
