Job Summary: We are seeking Mechanical Technicians with experience in industrial installations for a high-impact project at a food-sector production plant, focused on executing assembly, disassembly, and modification activities for mechanical equipment. At SSIC Engineering, we seek Mechanical Technicians with proven experience in industrial installations for a high-impact project at a food-sector production plant. The position focuses on executing assembly, disassembly, modification, and adaptation activities for mechanical equipment and systems in industrial operations, including bulk material handling and transportation. The project involves intervention on equipment such as chain conveyors, bucket elevators, industrial valves, pipelines, and associated systems, and will be carried out at the SIEMENS (VIA SIBERIA\-TENJO) and POLAR (FACATATIVA) plants. Main Functions and Responsibilities: \-Assembly and installation of industrial equipment (conveyors, elevators, valves, hoppers). \-Assembly, alignment, and adjustment of mechanical components. \-Assembly and modification of industrial piping (primarily product conveyance). \-Decommissioning and relocation of existing equipment. \-Support in fabrication and assembly of metal structures and supports. \-Execution of work at height and in industrial environments. \-Use of hand and power tools (grinder, drill, lifting equipment, etc.). \-Strict compliance with industrial safety standards, hot work procedures, and LOTO protocols. \-Support in functional testing and commissioning. Requirements: \-Technical or technological degree in industrial mechanics or related fields. \-Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial installations (mandatory). Experience in: \-Installation of industrial mechanical equipment. \-Working with piping and metal structures. \-Use of cutting, adjustment, and assembly tools. \-Experience in industrial plants (food, cement, metal-mechanical, etc.). \-Availability for fieldwork and extended shifts if required by the project. \-Ability to read basic drawings. \-Ability to work under pressure without compromising quality.
