**LOCATION:** SITE, SAN CARLOS, KM 2.5 FUNZA/PARQUE INDUSTRIAL SAN CARLOS II WAREHOUSE 10
Coordinate activities and resources to manage a safe and efficient operation, working under clear guidelines to help achieve the operational standards established by both DHL and customers.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
* Have a clear understanding of the objectives and KPIs applicable to your role and team.
* Communicate efficiency, direct labor hours, and productivity objectives to your team, ensuring a clear understanding of expectations (including communication to new hires).
* Maintain an organized daily task schedule and monitor its execution.
* Manage site equipment and personnel, and coordinate daily activities based on resource planning.
* Monitor daily team and individual performance, analyzing data and metrics.
* Support the review process of work instructions for your area, as per established frequency or need.
* Ensure team members receive proper training according to the established training plan and matrix for each role.
* Organize specific training courses as needed for the team and/or collaborators deviating from operational, quality, and safety standards.
* Prepare and execute, at established frequencies and formats, various routines in your work schedule (shift handovers, leadership meetings, formal and informal feedback sessions, metric reviews, trainings, Gemba walks, etc.).
* Identify and document, together with the team, root causes of deviations, best practices, and opportunities for improvement in operational, quality, and safety processes. Additionally, support implementation of proposed improvements, ensure they are recorded in the designated format, assigned to a responsible person, and given a closure date, and keep the team informed of progress.
* Support recognition programs and encourage participation of personnel under your supervision. Fully understand how the Recognition Program works.
* Participate in selecting team members eligible for recognition based on high performance, attendance, disciplinary actions, and improvement proposals related to operational, quality, safety, and environmental sustainability processes within the site.
* Supervise team work activities and develop team members based on their career development needs or plans.
* Control and improve productivity across different processes while ensuring quality and safety.
* Supervise accuracy of stored inventory.
* Report and resolve promptly any issues arising across various operational processes. • Maintain order in your workplace.
* Properly manage usage and maintenance of equipment used in operations.
* Attend to customers on the shop floor when required. • Collaborate with your direct supervisor on personnel matters (vacations, warnings, suspensions, hiring, bonuses, terminations, trainings, career opportunities, etc.).
* Perform other tasks deemed necessary for operations by your direct supervisor, based on internal or customer requirements.
* Monitor and comply with requirements set by DIAN, INVIMA, and ICA for licensed warehouses and Free Trade Zones (where applicable).
**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:**
* Professional or Technologist degree in industrial processes, business administration, logistics management, industrial engineering, or international business.
* Minimum 3 years of experience (2 years is not disqualifying).
* Must reside in Madrid, Mosquera, Funza, or surrounding areas.
