This role is critical to enabling cloud-based analytical platforms, ensuring data quality, and promoting innovative practices that drive digital transformation and data democratization across the region. **Key responsibilities of the area:** * Design and implementation of data engineering-related processes, including: * Definition and implementation of data flows * Data exploration * Optimization / Automation of processes/routines to improve analytical process efficiency * Application of DataOps-based practices * Ensuring the full lifecycle management of analytical platforms, covering: * Design of architectures for ESS & analytics products integrating both Experian and cloud provider services and platforms * Implementation and maintenance of platforms * Assurance and governance of platforms * Continuous integration of innovation leveraging advances in cloud technology, Big Data, GenAI, and other areas * Customer support for Ascend Analytical Sandbox: * Delivering a customer-friendly onboarding experience * Supporting customers in understanding data structures, platform usage, and efficient utilization * Optimizing costs by ensuring proper understanding of customer needs To achieve its objectives and fulfill its responsibilities, the area comprises the following roles and positions: * Data Engineers and analytical platform administrators * Ascend Technical Experts * Technical leaders for analytical products and platforms such as Ascend. **Job Responsibilities:** * Design and manage data ingestion, transformation, and access processes (for structured and unstructured data), ensuring efficiency and reliability. * Generate value from data by creating meaningful attributes and transformations for products and services. * Ensure data quality by implementing control and validation mechanisms. * Implement and maintain cloud-based analytical platforms aligned with business requirements and defined architectures. * Apply DataOps and DevOps practices to optimize solution operations and deployment. * Drive innovation in data engineering by incorporating emerging technologies such as Big Data, Cloud, GenAI, and advanced automation. * Collaborate on cost and resource optimization, ensuring efficient use of platforms and services. **Qualifications** A passionate Data Engineer focused on innovation and process optimization, leading the design, development, and maintenance of data processing and data flow systems for the DA HUB of SPLatam.
