Apply now to help keep our core data services resilient **Responsibilities** * Install, configure, and upgrade MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL and Oracle databases * Track, tune, and optimize database performance * Administer backups, recovery, and disaster recovery plans * Enforce and maintain database security and user access controls * Design and set up replication, clustering, and high\-availability solutions * Automate routine DBA tasks with scripting and supporting tools * Diagnose and resolve database incidents and recurring issues * Create and maintain documentation for configurations and procedures * Partner with DevOps and development teams to support database needs **Requirements** * Minimum 5 years of experience in database engineering or administration * Advanced administration skills in MySQL, PostgreSQL, MSSQL or Oracle * Hands\-on scripting experience with Shell or Python for automation * Proven track record with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins or GitLab CI and IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible * Working knowledge of monitoring and logging tools including Prometheus, Grafana or ELK * Solid experience with cloud database services such as AWS RDS, Azure or GCP * Deep understanding of database security, replication and high availability * Willingness to work rotational on\-call, overlapping regional shifts and weekend coverage * Strong ability to collaborate in a follow\-the\-sun model with SREs, platform engineering and application teams
