




Job Summary: Scoop Operator responsible for operating the scoop equipment in underground operations for loading, transporting, and unloading ore or waste material. Key Responsibilities: 1. Operate the scoop in underground operations to ensure safety and productivity. 2. Conduct pre-operational inspections and report anomalies. 3. Strictly comply with underground mining safety protocols. Antioquia Gold LTD requires a Scoop Operator for its team, with a minimum of three (3) years of experience operating scoops. The selected candidate will be responsible for operating the scoop in underground operations to load, transport, and unload ore or waste material, ensuring safety, productivity, and equipment care in accordance with company procedures and mining safety regulations. Education: Academic qualifications are not required. Responsibilities: Perform pre-operational inspection of the scoop, verifying mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Immediately report any anomalies to the maintenance department. Operate the scoop to load ore or waste material from the working face. Transport material to the designated discharge point (hopper, shaft, or haul truck). Control scoop speed and maneuvers in underground galleries, respecting turning radii, signage, and internal traffic regulations. Strictly comply with underground mining safety protocols. Ensure the work area is clear before commencing operations. Report unsafe acts or conditions observed during hauling operations. Competencies: -Teamwork. -Honesty. -Integrity. -Results-oriented.
