Job Summary: A reputable company is seeking an experienced welder in the metal-mechanical and industrial sectors, responsible for performing and ensuring the quality of MIG welding processes, interpreting drawings, and optimizing resources. Responsibility and commitment A reputable company requires a welder with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in the metal-mechanical and industrial sectors for its team. Academic Qualification: Minimum academic qualification is high school diploma. Specific Duties: Perform MIG welding processes according to drawings and technical specifications. Interpret structural drawings and production orders. Perform MIG welding in various positions (flat, horizontal, vertical, overhead—as applicable). Ensure welding process quality. Meet timeframes assigned per work order. Optimize the use of consumables (wire, gas, electrodes). Knowledge and Skills: Attention to detail. Responsibility and commitment. Teamwork. Interpretation of structural drawings. Salary: COP $1,900,000 + transportation allowance + overtime pay + year-end bonus based on company performance and seniority + statutory social benefits. Working Hours: Monday to Saturday. Shift 1: 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. / Shift 2: 2:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Candidates must have flexible availability. Contract Type: Project-based or task-based contract.
