Job Purpose
A Production Planner is responsible for ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. This role involves planning and organizing production schedules, assessing resource requirements, and managing workflow to meet production targets. This is a key responsibility within the 5 CPL Manufacturing division and involves working closely with Divisions Local planner, Formulation Management \& the General Manager/Operations Manager.
Tasks and Responsibilities
* Identify and address shortages or overages to maintain optimal inventory levels and assist the local production planner in reviewing raw materials, solutions, and bases for each works order.
* Inform the local planner if a partial quantity is available in stock by informing the bulking up procedure.
* Assist and coordinate with FM to address orders that have minimum weighting guidelines.
* Check for special manufacturing instructions on works orders and inform the local planner.
* Firm Works and Release Orders in D365 if there are no shortages.
* Adjust yield (wastage) for firmed jobs based on divisional requirements.
* Assist the local planner in releasing works orders to the factory based on priority and planned production completion dates.
* Help divisions if local planner is unavailable to print customer order pack sheets for both customer orders and stock jobs and inform the operations manager.
* Work closely with local planner and operations manager to resolve issues and improve processes and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Ensure all production activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.

**Candidate Profile:**
Education:
* Technical or technological degree or student from the 4th semester onwards in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Safety, HSEQ, Industrial Engineering, or related fields.
* 50-hour course in SG-SST
Desirable:
* Occupational Health and Safety license.
* Training as a Working at Heights Coordinator.
Experience:
* Minimum 1 year performing similar duties in HSEQ areas.
**Job Responsibilities:**
* Support compliance with legal and regulatory requirements in occupational health and safety, environment, and quality.
* Actively participate in the implementation and improvement of the Integrated Management System (IMS).
* Monitor HSEQ indicators and report deviations.
* Conduct field inspections, risk assessments, and operational controls.
* Coordinate and record training sessions, drills, incident investigations, and preventive campaigns.
* Prepare technical reports and support internal and external audits.
* Complete work permits according to established procedures.
* Accompany working-at-heights activities ensuring compliance with safety protocols.
* Conduct active pauses and safety pauses within work teams.
* Report unsafe acts and conditions for timely correction.
* Execute the training plan on occupational health and safety topics.
* Support other activities that promote well-being and a prevention culture within the organization.
