Implement continuous improvement strategies **Position:** Post-Harvest Director **Location:** El Rosal, Cundinamarca **Employment Type:** Full-time ***Job Objective:*** Manage and optimize all post-harvest processes related to rose production, ensuring the product meets quality standards, remains in optimal condition for distribution, and that the process is efficient, profitable, and sustainable. ***Responsibilities:*** * Supervise and coordinate the post-harvest process for roses, from harvesting through storage and distribution. * Ensure compliance with quality and hygiene regulations throughout the process. * Implement and optimize flower preservation techniques and technologies. * Manage the assigned team, fostering an efficient and collaborative work environment. * Develop and implement continuous improvement strategies for post-harvest processes. * Prepare production and performance reports for management. * Supervise staff training and development in post-harvest practices and occupational health and safety (OHS). **Requirements:** * ***Education:*** Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Agro-industrial Engineering, Agricultural Engineering, or related fields. * ***Experience:*** Minimum 1 year of experience in post-harvest operations management. * ***Knowledge:*** Proficiency in quality standards, flower preservation techniques, and post-harvest handling. * ***Skills:*** Leadership, strategic thinking, analytical ability.
