You will shape FastAPI APIs and background processing, build lakehouse patterns (medallion layers/data lakes/star schemas), and scale delivery with GitHub Actions plus IaC in Bicep or Terraform. Apply to guide cross\-team work and keep our platforms reliable at scale **Responsibilities** * Direct and improve Python backend services and background jobs, using FastAPI as a core framework * Develop and optimize data processing workflows with Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB * Steer design and ongoing maintenance of data lakes, medallion layers, and star schemas * Enhance and scale CI/CD automation through GitHub Actions * Lead Azure deployment and operations using Container Apps, Azure Storage, Service Bus, and SignalR * Define infrastructure\-as\-code configurations with Bicep or alternatives such as AWS CDK and Terraform * Drive adoption of GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to optimize engineering throughput * Collaborate across teams to ensure scalable systems and smooth performance * Tackle high\-level architectural and engineering problems while following advanced best practices * Maintain monitoring standards and lead resolution of critical issues to sustain system fidelity **Requirements** * Extensive Python experience (5\+ years) creating web services and managing background jobs using FastAPI * At least 1 year of leadership experience driving technical direction and delivery outcomes * Deep understanding of Pandas, Polars, openpyxl, and DuckDB for data pipeline development * Proficiency in designing medallion layers, data lakes, and star schemas as core architectures * Advanced expertise in GitHub Actions to implement and scale CI/CD workflows * Proven track record with Azure services such as Container Apps, Service Bus, SignalR, and Azure Storage * Mastery of infrastructure\-as\-code solutions, with extensive experience in Bicep, AWS CDK, or Terraform * Proven ability to use GitHub Copilot and Claude Code to strengthen development workflows * English proficiency at B2\+ (Upper\-Intermediate) for effective collaboration **Nice to have** * Experience using Airflow, dbt, and Streamlit for orchestration and transformation * Deep knowledge of distributed processing, asynchronous workflows, and enterprise messaging patterns * Advanced Snowflake experience with streams, tasks, pipes, stored procedures, and time travel use cases * Significant experience in .NET web development for legacy front\-end solutions built in .NET Core * Proven web development experience with Angular or Next.js
