Compliance with industrial safety and biosafety regulations. **JOB OBJECTIVE** Support operational activities in the beef deboning area, contributing to proper carcass utilization, compliance with company-established quality, food safety, and food security standards, as well as current sanitary regulations. In addition to Brazil, Minerva Foods operates in Paraguay, Argentina, Uruguay, Colombia, and has specialized sheep processing plants in Australia. **Responsibilities and Duties** **APPRENTICE** Your duties focus on **operational support, quality control, and hygiene**, always under the supervision of the deboning supervisor. ### **Main Duties** * **Support in the deboning process** * Assist in deboning and separation of various meat cuts under guidance from the deboner or line supervisor. * Identify and classify different meat cuts according to customer specifications and internal standards. * Assist in boning, trimming, and cleaning of meat pieces. * **Product handling and control** * Ensure hygienic handling of meat throughout the process. * Monitor storage temperatures and support cold chain control. * Assist in weighing, packaging, labeling, and storing finished products. * **Cleaning and maintenance of the area** * Assist in cleaning and disinfecting tables, knives, saws, and other work tools. * Comply with personal hygiene protocols, use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and biosafety regulations. * **Quality control support** * Report any product quality anomalies (odor, color, texture, contamination). * Record process controls as instructed by the supervisor. * **Compliance with industrial safety regulations** * Properly use personal protective equipment (PPE). * Follow safety regulations for handling sharp/piercing tools and electrical equipment. * **Training and development** * Apply knowledge acquired through technical or technological training (SENA or other institution). * Participate in learning and continuous improvement activities within the department. **Requirements and Qualifications** Students enrolled in meat cutting and sales or food marketing programs at SENA, authorized to carry out their internships. **Additional Information** **Benefits** * Free meals (main meal) * On-site medical services * On-site physiotherapy services * MLV salary * Wellness program As the leading beef exporter in South America, Minerva Foods is more than a global company: we are a community of professionals committed to excellence and innovation.
