Meet the team Join the CAD\& Methodology Team—a highly skilled group at the center of ASIC innovation. Our team develops and maintains the digital design flows that power Cisco’s next\-generation silicon, working directly with design and verification experts across multiple projects. We are a collaborative, supportive, and energetic team with a deep commitment to technical excellence. Your impact As an ASIC Flow Engineer, you will play a critical role in developing, maintaining, and optimizing the digital ASIC design implementation flow, from RTL to GDS. Collaborate with project leaders and cross\-functional teams to enable and support ASIC project flows. Own the setup, configuration, and management of EDA tools, and troubleshoot flow\-related issues, from tool crashes to convergence challenges. Develop and maintain flow QA test suites and comprehensive documentation to ensure flows are robust, reusable, and scalable. Your contributions will directly impact project efficiency, quality, and the success of multiple ASIC designs. **Minimum Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field * 3\+ years of experience in at least one of the following: ASIC design, physical implementation, or CAD/flow engineering * Hands\-on experience with at least one major EDA tool (e.g., Fusion Compiler, PrimeTime, PrimePower, Innovus, Calibre, or ICV) * Proficiency in at least one scripting language (Tcl, Python, or Shell) * Strong understanding of digital design fundamentals, including RTL, synthesis, and physical design concepts **Preferred Qualifications:** * Familiarity with standard ASIC collateral (Liberty (.lib), LEF/DEF, GDS, SDC, SPEF, SDF) * Detail\-oriented, with a strong focus on quality, reproducibility, and maintainability.
