POSITION: 1, Operations Coordinator LOCATION: SITE, SAN CARLOS, KM 2.5 FUNZA/PARQUE INDUSTRIAL SAN CARLOS II BODEGA 10 Coordinate activities and resources to manage a safe and efficient operation, working under clear guidelines to help achieve operational standards established by both DHL and customers. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Have a clear understanding of the objectives and KPIs applicable to your role and team. * Communicate efficiency objectives, direct labor hours, and productivity targets to your team, ensuring a clear understanding of expectations (including communication to new hires). * Maintain an organized daily task schedule and track its execution. * Manage site equipment and personnel, coordinating daily activities based on resource planning. * Monitor daily team and individual performance, analyzing data and metrics. * Support the periodic review of work instructions for your area, as per established frequency or need. * Ensure team members receive appropriate training according to the established training plan and competency matrix for each role. * Organize specific training sessions as needed for the team and/or colleagues deviating from operational, quality, and safety standards. * Prepare and execute, at prescribed frequencies and formats, various routines in your work schedule (PDs, shift handovers, leadership meetings, formal and informal feedback sessions, metric reviews, trainings, Gemba walks, etc.). * Identify and document with the team root causes of deviations, best practices, and improvement opportunities related to operational, quality, and safety processes. Additionally, support implementation of proposed improvements, ensure they are recorded in the designated format, assigned to a responsible person, given a closure date, and keep the team informed of progress. * Support recognition programs and encourage participation of your team members. Fully understand how the Recognition Program works. Participate in selecting team members eligible for recognition based on high performance, attendance, disciplinary records, process improvement proposals related to operations, quality, safety, and environmental sustainability within the site. * Supervise team members’ work and develop them according to their career needs or development plans. * Control and improve productivity across different processes while ensuring quality and safety. * Supervise accuracy of stored inventory. * Report and resolve promptly any issues arising in various operational processes. • Maintain order in your workplace. * Properly manage usage and maintenance of equipment used in operations. * Attend to customers on the shop floor when required. • Coordinate with your direct supervisor personnel-related actions (vacations, warnings, suspensions, hiring, bonuses, dismissals, trainings, career opportunities, etc.). * Perform other tasks deemed necessary for operations by your direct supervisor, based on internal or customer requirements. * Monitor and comply with DIAN, INVIMA, and ICA requirements for licensed warehouses and Free Trade Zones (where applicable). **DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:** * Bachelor’s degree or Technical Diploma in Industrial Processes, Business Administration, Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, or International Business. * Minimum 3 years of experience (2 years is not strictly excluded). * Must reside in Madrid, Mosquera, Funza, or surrounding areas. **SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:** * Critical Thinking: Ability to evaluate data and action alternatives to make logical, impartial, and reasoned decisions. * Stress Tolerance: Maintaining composure under workload accumulation or increased responsibilities, resulting in controlled responses to excessive demands. * Independence: Acting based on personal convictions without seeking approval from others; willingness to question a given judgment or course of action. * Leadership: Using interpersonal traits and methods to guide individuals or groups toward achieving a common objective.
