Job Summary: Ensure the proper operation and maintenance of emission measurement equipment, complying with environmental regulations and IDEAM's technical guidelines. Key Highlights: 1. Preventive and corrective maintenance of gas analyzers and opacity meters. 2. Support in calibration and metrological verification processes. 3. Technical support during audits and verification visits. **Job Objective:** Ensure the proper operation, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and basic calibration of equipment used to measure emissions from mobile sources, guaranteeing compliance with current environmental regulations and technical guidelines established by IDEAM. **Academic Qualification:** Technologist or Technician in related fields such as: Electronics, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related disciplines. **Required Experience:** Minimum two (2) years of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of electronic equipment; this period shall be counted from the issuance date of the technical professional license. **Technical Knowledge:** * Proficiency in electronic and mechanical diagnostic tools. * Preparation of technical reports and maintenance records. **Main Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on gas analyzers and opacity meters. * Conduct inspection, cleaning, adjustment, and replacement of consumables for equipment. * Verify proper functioning of sensors, cameras, probes, hoses, pumps, and peripherals. * Support calibration and metrological verification processes. * Identify technical faults and issue repair diagnostics. * Install equipment in mobile environmental measurement units. * Provide technical support during IDEAM audits and verification visits. * Complete technical maintenance reports and equipment life-cycle records. * Ensure compliance with applicable internal procedures and regulatory requirements. **Professional Competencies:** * Analytical ability and problem-solving skills * Organization and attention to detail * Teamwork * Responsibility and reliability * Technical adaptability * Effective communication * Service orientation * Fieldwork capability **Additional Requirements:** * Availability for travel * Basic proficiency in office software (Excel, Word, technical reporting) Employment Type: Permanent Work Location: On-site employment
