Job Summary: We are seeking a professional to manage the Environmental Management System, ensure regulatory compliance, and lead the comprehensive management of waste. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manage the Environmental Management System (EMS) 2. Lead the comprehensive management of hazardous waste 3. Promote continuous improvement and environmental culture Requirements: Education: Environmental Engineer, Chemical Engineer, or related field; Technologist is also acceptable, but salary differs. Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in management systems (NTC ISO 14001:2015), preferably with knowledge of waste management. Job Mission: Ensure achievement of objectives in proper waste management and final treatment, complying with regulatory standards, worker safety, and Environmental License requirements, enabling the company to prevent environmental impacts, achieve its commercial and production goals. Responsibilities: Manage the Environmental Management System (EMS) and ensure legal and Environmental License compliance. Coordinate the comprehensive management of hazardous waste (RESPEL) and its traceability until final disposal. Supervise environmental compliance of operations through inspections, audits, and indicator monitoring. Manage documentation, legal matrices, and environmental reports required by the management system. Lead responses to environmental audits and investigations, implementing corrective and improvement actions. Provide technical support and environmental training, promoting continuous improvement and organizational environmental culture.
