Responsibilities: • Identify and classify costs (fixed, variable, direct, and indirect). • Analyze variances between actual and budgeted costs. • Evaluate the profitability of products, services, or projects. 2. Budget Preparation • Participate in the preparation of operational and financial budgets. • Monitor budget compliance. • Propose adjustments based on results. 3. Cost Control and Reduction • Identify cost-saving opportunities. • Implement strategies to optimize resources. • Monitor unnecessary or excessive expenses. 4. Product or Service Costing • Calculate unit production or service delivery costs. • Apply costing methods (job-order, process, ABC, etc.). • Support pricing decisions. 5. Financial Reporting • Prepare periodic reports for management. • Present key performance indicators (KPIs). • Explain variances and trends. 6. Decision-Making Support • Provide relevant financial information. • Analyze scenarios (e.g., make vs. buy). • Evaluate investments or projects. 7.
