Job Summary: Diesel mechanic technician/technologist responsible for inspecting and maintaining vehicles, ensuring regulatory compliance, and managing tools. Key Highlights: 1. Essential role in vehicle inspection and maintenance. 2. Management of driver documentation and equipment. 3. Responsibility for handling inspection tools and forms. ***TECHNICIAN, TECHNOLOGIST:*** In diesel engine mechanics; seminars and workshops in automotive mechanics; advanced course in working at heights. Six months of experience in similar positions. · Inspect and assess the vehicle's condition (a task requiring no lifting). · Review driver documents to provide advance notice if they are about to expire. · Complete the relevant forms used for vehicle inspection. · Before immobilizing a vehicle, verify its internal and external cleanliness. · Confirm that company emblems and logos match those designated by management. · Inspect driver equipment. · Be accountable for handling inspection forms. · Be accountable for tools assigned for vehicle inspection. · Inspect vehicle equipment (first-aid kit and roadside emergency equipment).
