At Stefanini, we are more than 30,000 geniuses, connected from 41 countries, doing what they love and co-creating a better future. **Responsibilities and Authorities** **Role Objective:** Design, develop, and deploy applied AI engines by integrating Computer Vision and Large Language Models (LLMs) with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), to solve visual analysis problems, multimodal information interpretation, and generate technical outputs aligned with business rules. **AI Engine – Computer Vision** * Design and train Computer Vision models for image analysis, classification, clustering, and extraction of relevant information. * Define image and data preprocessing and processing pipelines, as well as inference and result validation. * Select appropriate architectures, algorithms, and approaches according to the problem (e.g., classification, detection, segmentation). * Ensure model quality, performance, and stability in production environments. * Collaborate on dataset definition, evaluation criteria, and continuous improvement. **AI Engine + Business (LLM + RAG)** * Design and implement LLM-based solutions leveraging Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG). * Integrate structured and unstructured information to enrich model reasoning. * Define context retrieval strategies, prompts, and output validation. * Translate business rules, criteria, and domain knowledge into model capabilities. * Generate clear, consistent, and traceable technical outputs for operational consumption. **Production, Traceability, and Integration** * Design end-to-end solutions ready for operation in production environments. * Expose AI capabilities via APIs and integrate them with existing systems. * Implement traceability, logging, and result justification mechanisms. * Collaborate with backend, cloud, and business teams for deployment and scaling. **Requirements and Qualifications** * 4 years of experience as a Data Scientist or ML Engineer in production environments. * Solid hands-on experience in applied Computer Vision. * Experience implementing LLMs in real-world business scenarios. * Experience taking AI models from design to production. **Technical Knowledge** * Python. * ML/CV frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, OpenCV, or similar). * Image processing and preprocessing algorithms. * LLMs, embeddings, RAG, and model orchestration. * Cloud platforms (preferably Azure). * API design and collaboration with backend systems. **Desirable** * Experience with systems requiring auditability or traceability. * Knowledge of enterprise architectures. **Key Competencies** * Ability to abstract complex problems and design AI solutions. * Technical autonomy and architectural judgment. * Clear communication with technical teams and stakeholders.
