Participation in projects using agile methodologies We are looking for Cybersecurity Implementation Engineers to join the team of a leading bank in Colombia and strengthen its technological security posture. This role is critical in protecting information assets through the effective execution of cybersecurity controls in IT projects and operations. The role focuses on the technical implementation of cybersecurity solutions on both physical infrastructure and cloud environments, ensuring proper application of defined security policies and regulations. Responsibilities: Execute the implementation of cybersecurity controls in IT projects and services. Configure and manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, proxies, antivirus, EDR, and DLP. Manage cryptographic solutions (PKI, digital certificates). Apply security controls in on-premise and cloud (AWS) environments. Monitor security events using basic SIEM platforms. Participate in projects using agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban). Provide user support on information security topics. Identify and propose improvements to existing security infrastructure. · Required Skills: Implementation of security policies in networks and systems. Management of security infrastructure and monitoring tools. Cloud security (AWS). Basic use of SIEM platforms. Effective communication with technical and non-technical teams. End-user support on cybersecurity topics. Proactivity and analytical thinking for identifying risks and gaps. Desired Skills: Desired Security Certifications: Introduction to Cybersecurity CISCO Cybersecurity Essentials Palo Alto Introduction to Cybersecurity (EDU-010) Splunk Fundamentals 1 AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner Certified Network Defender (CND). · Position Details Required Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electronics, Systems Engineering, or related fields. Work Modality: Medellín Hybrid (3 days in office, 2 days remote) Remote modality available for candidates located in any city in Colombia.
