Field Force Manager

**Position Objective** You will lead teams of supervisors (team leaders) and sales force, fostering a high-performance environment. You will act as a vital link between internal and external areas, cultivating strategic relationships with customers and business partners to achieve and exceed established goals. Your objective will be to drive sustainable growth for the represented brands, ensuring excellence in marketing, promotion, and point-of-sale presence strategies. To achieve this, you will leverage your ability to swiftly resolve challenges and your deep market knowledge. **Responsibilities / Functions** * **People and Resource Management:** * **Team Leadership:** Lead and manage the team of supervisors (team leaders) and sales force (field force) under your responsibility to effectively achieve all sales objectives across various distribution channels. * **Recruitment and selection:** Participate in recruitment, selection, and hiring processes for your team to ensure well-prepared human resources aligned with company objectives and expectations for each project under your supervision. * **Performance Goals and Evaluations:** Based on sales targets, set performance goals for your team, monitor progress through review/analysis of reports and indicators, and conduct periodic evaluations accordingly. * **Strategic Planning:** Ensure proper definition of the detailed promotional calendar, supervise end-to-end logistics from storage to distribution and setup, and coordinate and approve team visit plans, routes, and activities. * **Supervision:** Conduct regular follow-ups through visits and meetings to ensure each team member fulfills their responsibilities and to identify opportunities that allow strategy adaptation and continuous improvement of results at points of sale. * **Data Management:** Continuously evaluate market information collected by the team to adjust strategies, improve point-of-sale results, and periodically report progress as assigned. * **Quality Control:** Establish, communicate, and enforce company policies, procedures, and quality standards across all activities performed by your personnel. * **Support and Feedback:** Provide ongoing support to team members under your supervision, advising them to enhance their leadership and management skills. * **Training and Development:** Lead training sessions and act as an instructor to strengthen team competencies in all aspects necessary for project success, while identifying team training and development needs and implementing corresponding training plans. * **Conflict Resolution:** Manage and resolve any issues or conflicts arising among team members, suppliers, and other stakeholders. * **Teamwork:** Promote a culture of teamwork and collaboration within your team, and participate in any other priority projects/activities for the department and/or achievement of company goals. * **Financial and Resource Control:** Manage budgets and control inventory of materials and resources, regularly reporting project status to stakeholders. * **Customer Management:** * **Strategic Relationships:** Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders. * **Excellence in Service:** Provide assistance and exceptional customer service to ensure high satisfaction levels, understanding the needs and preferences of different customer segments to effectively adapt strategies and tactics. * **Opportunity Identification:** Maintain constant observation to detect new business opportunities and cross-selling possibilities with existing customers. * **Customer Retention:** Develop and execute loyalty strategies to minimize turnover and maximize customer lifetime value. * **Market Research (customer):** Conduct market studies and analyze customer data to identify emerging trends and needs. * **Channel Management:** * **Strategy Development:** Implement and oversee execution of channel strategies to optimize distribution and maximize sales. * **Partner Management:** Manage relationships with distributors, wholesalers, and other channel partners. * **Supply Control:** Coordinate with channel partners to ensure smooth supply chain management and effective inventory control. * **Market Research (channel):** Conduct market research and analyze channel data to identify emerging trends and opportunities. * **Marketing Program Development:** Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute effective point-of-sale marketing programs. * **Channel Monitoring:** Maintain constant oversight of channel performance and make necessary adjustments to strategies and tactics. **Requirements:** * **Competencies:** * **Customer and results orientation** * **Effective communication and relationship management** * **Negotiation and market knowledge** * **Leadership and people development** * **Analytical thinking** * **Education/Qualifications:** * Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field * **Experience:** * Minimum of 3 years proven experience managing sales teams in the Trade Marketing industry. * Experience as a supervisor (team leader), desirable. * **Knowledge** * Office Suite * Proficiency in mobile technology usage. * English language proficiency, desirable. * **Other Requirements:** * Own vehicle. * Availability to work flexible hours and visit various points of sale. * Experience in consumer electronics product marketing will be positively valued.
