




**Job Summary** The Account Receivable Specialist and Bookkeeping supports the Finance \& Accounting Department by analyzing, maintaining, and reconciling accounts payable and receivable activities. The role ensures compliance with internal controls, accurate processing of payments and collections, and timely reconciliation of ledgers. This position provides reporting and insights on account trends, credit risk, and collections to support decision\-making and process improvement across the organization. **Essential Duties and Responsibilities** **Key Responsibilities** * Process vendor invoices, payments, and receipts in compliance with company policies and GAAP standards. * Maintain and reconcile AP/AR ledgers to ensure timely and accurate payments/collections. * Investigate and resolve billing, collection, or payment discrepancies. * Analyze customer credit history, assess credit risk, and recommend limits/payment terms. * Generate reports on collections, account aging, and other relevant metrics. * Identify inefficiencies, recommend improvements, and assist with AP/AR automation initiatives. * Support month\-end and year\-end closing processes, including all bookkeeping processes and records. * Maintain strong communication with vendors, customers, and internal teams. **Core Competencies** * **Analytical Accuracy** – Ensures financial records and reports are correct and reliable. * **Attention to Detail** – Maintains precision in data entry and reconciliation. * **Problem\-Solving** – Investigates discrepancies and proposes solutions. * **Communication** – Interacts effectively with vendors, customers, and internal stakeholders. * **Process Improvement** – Identifies cost savings and efficiency opportunities. Qualifications * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred). * 2 years of relevant AP/AR experience. * Knowledge of GAAP standards, AP/AR automation tools, and ERP/accounting software. * Strong Excel and reporting skills. * Excellent time management and organizational skills with a keen ability for detail. * Excellent presentation skills. * High\-energy with a sense of urgency and adaptability. * Proactive decision maker with strong ability to collaborate * Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; proficiency in English and Spanish required. * Self\-starter, advanced problem solver, and critical thinker.
