System configuration and installation A prominent technology services company specializing in technical support is seeking an on-site Support Technician with the following requirements: * Certified Technician or Technologist in Systems, Electronics, Networks, Informatics, or related fields. * Minimum of TWO (2) years of experience in technical support services, preferably for computing equipment and peripherals. * Knowledge of peripheral devices such as scanners, RACs, scales, price verifiers, and POS systems; proficiency in basic Linux commands; installation of Windows and Linux operating systems; configuration and management of PDAs; domain-based equipment installation; calibration of Zebra, Magellan, Mettler Toledo, and 3nstar devices; preventive, predictive, and corrective diagnostics and maintenance of computing equipment; printer repair and maintenance; knowledge of operating systems and backup procedures; preparation of computing equipment; configuration and installation of new applications; expertise in migrating systems from Windows 7 to Windows 10; and preparation of required management reports for each client. POS SYSTEMS KNOWLEDGE IS MANDATORY. Conditions: Workplace: MOSQUERA and neighboring municipalities (WILLINGNESS TO TRAVEL); 100% on-site work. Schedule: Monday to Friday (8 hours per day), plus availability on Saturdays (not exceeding 44 weekly hours). Contract Type: Project-Based or Service Contract Salary: COP $2,000,000 + COP $38,000 telephone allowance + COP $249,095 transportation allowance + operational expenses and per diems (as applicable), plus all statutory benefits.
