Our business model focuses on customer satisfaction and sustainable development, meaning it is economically viable, respects people, and is environmentally friendly and responsible. **General objective of the role/position** Coordinate and control mining activities inherent to the extraction and production process of aggregates according to mining or extraction plans, mine development and preparation plans, development reports, and supply reports to ensure operational stability, availability, and quality of raw materials. **Responsibilities of the role/position** * Receive, interpret, and execute the mining or extraction plan to ensure that the described mining and geological activities are fully carried out. * Participate in the development of production, extraction, and blasting plans with the areas responsible for each process to obtain the necessary raw materials to secure production. * Place requisitions for necessary supplies based on the production scheduling of the blasting process to ensure that the product is available in the required conditions and quantities to carry out this activity. * Prepare management reports (daily, weekly, or monthly), including quantities transported to dumps, raw materials delivered to hoppers, and machine hours used in the extraction and transportation processes for contractor payment control. * Monitor and verify the quality of raw material supplied by the quarry to operations, aiming to provide a product meeting the specifications and quality requirements of the business. * Comply with established drilling and blasting programs to guarantee required extraction volumes. * Supervise contractors' exploitation and implementation of the mining plan to ensure proper quarry development. * Control and optimize time, efficiency, and quality of mining equipment (TEC) to ensure fair contractor payments. * Monitor key performance indicators of the process to reduce negative impacts that may arise from inadequate decisions regarding mining activities. * Participate in coordinating major shutdowns and repairs with the work team to ensure continuity of quarry extraction. * Inspect mine operations: site preparation, material removal, loading and transport, material disposal, road design and maintenance, pumping control and water reuse, sludge, fuel, and monitoring of reforestation areas, inactive blocks, vegetation cover, live and artificial fences, in order to maintain control over resources required for proper * Operation functionality. * Maintain the availability and reliability of information contained in the system to ensure traceability. **Education** Technical or technological degree in mining or supervision of mining operations **Technical knowledge and certifications** * *Current Colombian legislation applicable to open-pit mining operations* * Georeferencing * Material extraction and loading process * Explosives handling * Open-pit mining **Area of experience** 1-3 years We are an equal opportunity employer.
