Job Summary: We are seeking a Development Assistant to analyze, design, develop, implement, and support software applications, ensuring quality and compliance with standards. Key Responsibilities: 1. Software application development and implementation 2. Technical support and system maintenance 3. Preparation of technical documentation and version control A reputable company located in Mosquera is looking for a Development Assistant — a technician, technologist, or professional in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related fields — with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of experience in software development and database management. Main Responsibilities: Analyze, design, develop, and implement new software applications or enhancements to existing applications. Perform code adjustments, corrections, and optimizations while incorporating new functionalities. Conduct functional and technical testing to ensure the quality of developed software. Provide Level 2 and Level 3 technical support to end users for developed applications. Address corrective and evolutionary maintenance requests for systems. Prepare and update technical documentation for developed applications. Carry out tasks assigned by the Development Lead. Ensure all developments comply with programming standards and best practices. Requirements: Technician, technologist, or university graduate in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related disciplines. Proficiency in programming languages aligned with the organization’s technology stack. Experience in developing and maintaining web and/or desktop applications. Version control expertise (GitHub). API consumption and integration. Knowledge of functional and technical software testing. Basic knowledge of relational databases and SQL Server. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant work experience.
