Develop and support the mechanical design of transformers and their components. 2. Implement improvements and automation in design routines. 3. Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality departments. Description At **WEG Colombia Transformadores S.A.S**, we are seeking professionals in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related fields to join our team. We are a company dedicated to manufacturing electrical transformers and will soon be located in Rionegro. Requirements * Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or related field. * Knowledge of regulations related to electrical transformers. * Proficiency in CAD tools, preferably SolidWorks. * Knowledge of design routine automation. * Proficiency in office productivity tools. * Preferred: knowledge of SAP and experience in mechanical design of transformers. * Residency in Rionegro or willingness to relocate. Main Responsibilities * Develop and support the mechanical design of transformers and their components according to technical specifications. * Prepare and review drawings and models using CAD tools. * Apply regulatory requirements and technical standards in design processes. * Implement improvements and automation in design routines to optimize time and processes. * Coordinate with engineering, production, and quality departments to ensure proper execution of designs. * Perform adjustments and updates to designs according to project or customer requirements. * Support standardization and continuous improvement of design processes.
