Job Summary: Ensure the safety of personnel and vessels at the dock, minimizing risks, and oversee the proper performance of loading/unloading operations and port services. Key Responsibilities: 1. Monitor compliance with safety and discipline measures at the dock and on board vessels. 2. Ensure compliance with port laws and procedures. 3. Handle administrative procedures and coordinate vessel services. **Job Mission:** Ensure safe working conditions for personnel at the dock and aboard vessels, minimizing the risk and likelihood of occupational accidents and vessel incidents; as well as overseeing the proper execution of vessel unloading or loading operations and port services. **Main Responsibilities:** * Monitor compliance with safety and discipline measures at the dock and aboard vessels. * Ensure and oversee compliance with laws, policies, and procedures applicable to vessels at the dock and in the country. * Inspect compliance with services requested by the ship’s representative prior to the vessel’s arrival at the dock. * Carry out administrative procedures related to vessel services (travel memos, reports, departure documentation). * Coordinate the delivery of PPE and verify its proper use. * Manage inventories of work materials and PPE. * Inspect dock cleanliness after each operation within the work area. **Requirements:*** Technical degree in port administration and operations, business administration, or related fields. * Desired knowledge of port operations, industrial safety, problem-solving techniques, KAISEN. * Knowledge of Lean quality management tools: Six Sigma.
