Purpose The Associate Environmental, Health and Safety Specialist will provide foundational subject matter expertise that meets environmental, health, and safety regulations. In this role, you will support the implementation and execution of environmental safety, health and safety management processes and programs. You will understand in detail the application of safe and compliant operating practices and support the demonstration of compliance associated with company policies, work processes, programs, and standards. Key Responsibilities * Build relationships and interact with production workers, senior site leadership, business leadership, and environmental, health and safety functional leadership. * Develop understanding and execute environmental, health and safety work processes, activities, and controls. * Review and break down operation, construction, and other environmental permits; identify compliance demonstration requirements, activities, and tasks; and implement and execute the compliance demonstration program. * Locate required corporate and legal processes, programs, and controls, and integrate them into site-level operational procedures, tools, and work instructions to standardize frontline processes, and monitor, analyze, and adjust to improve performance. * Perform recordkeeping, analysis, and reporting tasks; identify improvement and risk mitigation opportunities; and leverage and implement the most effective technologies and improvements in alignment with the country leader. * Support preparation for company audits, government inspections, customer visits, and collect data and prepare necessary reports to monitor program maturity, performance, and compliance. * Support determination of appropriate training content and delivery methods in alignment with global and regional requirements; support gap assessments to identify training needs; support curriculum adjustments to reflect site-specific needs; and support training delivery. * Handle basic matters and issues under direct supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate personnel. * Other duties as assigned. \#LI\-Onsite \#LI\-VG3 Qualifications * Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Engineering, or related fields * Certification in Occupational Health and Safety, minimum Technologist level * Minimum of 2 years of work experience in EHS. **Preferred Qualifications:** * Proven ability to solve problems and make independent decisions * Ability to relate technical knowledge to job-related tasks. * Knowledge of enablon.
