Job Mission:
Ensure comprehensive accounting management for the company, guaranteeing accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting and tax regulations in Colombia, Peru, and Chile, and providing strategic support for organizational decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Accounting and Financial Management
* Lead the full accounting cycle (accruals, reconciliations, and financial closings).
* Prepare and submit financial statements under IFRS.
* Supervise tax obligations before DIAN, SUNAT, and SII.
* Manage fixed assets, depreciation, provisions, and amortizations.
* Develop budgets, cash flow forecasts, and financial analyses.
* Ensure compliance with fiscal and legal obligations.
Planning and Control
* Lead financial and tax planning.
* Implement area-specific management indicators (KPIs).
* Administer and optimize accounting software (Siesa or Siigo).
* Promote automation and continuous process improvement.
* Implement analytics and artificial intelligence tools for financial reporting.
Leadership
* Lead, develop, and mentor the accounting team.
* Train staff on processes, regulations, and tools.
* Assign responsibilities and monitor performance.
Strategic Stakeholder Engagement
* Coordinate processes with Human Resources, Commercial, Operations, and Legal departments.
* Support internal and external audits, as well as regulatory body requests.
* Present financial reports to senior management.
* Supervise compliance with payroll, social security, and parafiscal contribution obligations.
Requirements:
Education
* Licensed Public Accountant with valid professional license (mandatory).
* Postgraduate specialization in Tax Legislation, Finance, or related fields (mandatory).
* Certification or diploma in IFRS/IFRS (mandatory).
* Master’s degree in Taxation or International Accounting (preferred).
Experience
* Minimum five (5) years leading accounting departments.
* Demonstrable experience managing teams.
* Experience in technology or services companies is preferred.
Technical Knowledge
* IFRS/IFRS.
* Accounting and tax regulations in Colombia, Peru, and Chile.
* Proficiency in Siesa or Siigo.
* Preparation of financial statements.
* Financial and budgetary planning.
* Tax management (VAT, Income Tax, ICA, Withholding Tax, among others).
* Payroll, social security, and electronic invoicing.
* Advanced Excel.
* Power BI.
Additional Requirements
* Age between 30 and 45 years.
* No negative credit bureau reports.
* Minimum one year of employment stability in most recent role.
* Willingness to sign an exclusivity agreement with BPT.
* Candidates engaged under service provision arrangements (OPS or freelance) will not be considered.
