**Junior Accountant /** Mosquera \- Cundinamarca Thor Dynamic Engineering SAS requires a Junior Accountant capable of comprehensively supporting accounting, labor, and financial processes. The position demands precision, compliance with regulations, responsibility, and reliable technical execution, focused on strengthening the accounting department and providing ongoing support to administrative and financial management. The professional must handle operational processes rigorously, provide analysis when required, and ensure information quality, maintaining clear and timely communication with the internal team and related external entities. **Main Responsibilities** * Payroll processing, including overtime, surcharges, leave due to illness, licenses, and social benefits. * Filing of social security and parafiscal contributions reports. * Daily journal entries: accruals, provisions, payroll, taxes, amortizations, depreciations, and closing adjustments. * Bank reconciliations and balance sheet and income statement account reconciliations. * Accounts receivable monitoring and control: verification of supporting documents, client reconciliation, alerts, requests for tax withholding certificates, and periodic reporting. * Fixed assets management: registration, cleanup, depreciation, monthly reconciliation, and physical-accounting control. * Support in monthly and annual closings, ensuring timeliness and accuracy of information. * Monitoring of bank loan balances, statement verification, and monthly reconciliation of principal and interest. Scheduling of bank loan payments, installments, interest, and associated financial obligations. * Organization and archiving of accounting, payroll, and tax documentation. * Support during internal and external audits by fulfilling requests and providing necessary documentation. * Generation of reports requested by management and department heads. * Compliance with internal procedures and strengthening of accounting internal controls. **Academic Requirements** * Professional degree in **Public Accounting** (required). * Valid professional license. * Up-to-date knowledge of Colombian accounting standards (NIIF for SMEs) and current labor legislation. * Intermediate or advanced level in Excel. * Proficiency in accounting software. * Experience using online banking platforms (desirable). **Experience** * More than 3 years of experience in accounting roles or similar positions. * Proven experience in payroll, social security calculations, journal entries, reconciliations, accounts receivable management, bank loan tracking, and fixed assets. * Experience supporting accounting closings (monthly or annual). **Key Competencies** * Attention to detail and accuracy in accounting records. * Planning and organization. * Analytical ability and technical judgment. * Clear and professional communication. * Professional ethics and confidentiality. * Results-oriented with commitment to deadlines. * Adaptability and willingness to learn.
