As trained health professionals, they monitor and coordinate patient's treatment plans, guide them to understand the status of their health, and check in on their progress. **Skills and Qualifications** * Understanding of the funding resources, services, and clinical standards and outcomes (non\-excluding) * Minimum high school diploma or equivalent. * Previous experience working with insurance companies required. * Previous experience in customer service, billing, or insurance verification roles preferred. * Highly organized with a strong ability to manage different priorities. * Ability to work with others and use resources to problem solve. * Apply good judgement to fast\-changing situations. * Strong customer service skills. * Effective verbal and written communication skills. **Job Responsibilities** * Ensure complete and accurate patient registration, which includes recording a patient's insurance. * Apply knowledge of funding resources, services, and clinical standards to everyday tasks. * Discuss and consult health history, diagnosis, and needs with patients and family members. * Follow facility guidelines, healthcare laws, and regulations. * Establish and maintain relationships with service providers. * Maintain professionalism and treat patients with respect.
