In this role, the production operator will be responsible for supporting manufacturing activities, carrying out operational tasks in product manufacturing, following manufacturing standards and complying with safety, quality, productivity, service, and good practice guidelines. **Functions** * Assists in weighing ingredients to meet recipe specifications, ensures correct ingredients are delivered to the work area. * Trains in machinery operations to mix, extrude/discharge, or handle materials according to operating procedures. * Inspects materials visually or physically to ensure compliance with established standards. * Performs all required machine cleaning. * Follows and complies with all safety and work regulations. * Maintains departmental cleanliness standards. * Receives and hands over shifts clearly, reporting status of assigned processes. * Performs all required machine cleaning. **Physical Demands** While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; stoop; use hands to touch, handle objects, tools, or controls; speak and/or hear.
