At Siemens Energy, we are looking for a **Field Service Technician** for gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators at customer facilities (power plants/refineries/industrial plants) who will be responsible for carrying out maintenance activities and supporting practical tasks related to equipment in accordance with technical and quality procedures, as well as using standard and specialized tools for each unit. **What your day will be like** The role involves working as a field service technician for gas turbines, steam turbines, and generators at customer facilities (power plants/refineries/industrial plants). The position requires availability to travel 80% or more to national or international industrial sites. **What are your responsibilities** * Carry out all disassembly, inspection, and assembly-related activities on gas and steam turbines, as well as electrical generators. * Work independently and/or as part of a team to achieve maintenance objectives during various service and/or repair stages. * Effectively identify technical or scheduling issues as they arise and take appropriate actions to resolve them, including escalating more complex problems to higher levels. * Perform checklist inspections and compile records to document equipment condition and ensure quality. * Work closely with site leaders, supervisors, and coworkers, providing assistance as needed. * Comply with and/or enforce current Integrated Management System protocols, policies, guidelines, and competencies (EHS, Quality) from Siemens Energy, and adhere to safety policies at customer facilities. **What are the job requirements** * Preferably holds a technical degree or technologist qualification related to industrial mechanics or similar fields. * Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in rotating equipment maintenance operations. * Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics. * Experience using manual or electric tools such as hand grinders, and reading precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, dial indicators, calipers, and scales.
