Position: Kitchen Assistant Work Location: Panorama Restaurante Bar – Chapinero, Bogotá Salary: Current legal minimum wage + tips Employment Type: Fixed-term employment contract Main Responsibilities: Support food preparation according to recipes, quality standards, and restaurant presentation guidelines. Perform mise en place, prepare ingredients, portioning, and organize the workstation. Keep the kitchen area, utensils, equipment, and work surfaces clean and orderly. Comply with food handling, hygiene, safety, and product preservation regulations. Assist in plating and serving dishes during service hours. Promptly report inventory shortages, expirations, or other inventory-related issues. Follow instructions from the head chef and support other duties inherent to the position. Requirements: Minimum 12 months of kitchen experience, preferably in a restaurant setting. Positive attitude, punctuality, responsibility, and ability to work under pressure. Basic knowledge of food handling practices. Availability to work rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays. Valid food handler’s card/certificate or willingness to obtain one.
