Collaborating in a safe and orderly work environment Position Summary: The kitchen assistant is responsible for supporting the kitchen team in food preparation, presentation, and service. Must be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and maintain high standards of hygiene and quality. Responsibilities: - Prepare ingredients for dishes and beverages - Clean and maintain the kitchen and equipment in good condition - Assist chefs in dish preparation - Perform mise en place and kitchen cleaning tasks - Maintain a safe and orderly work environment - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure service efficiency - Perform other kitchen-related tasks as needed Requirements: - Prior kitchen experience of at least 1 year. - Basic knowledge of kitchen safety and hygiene - Ability to work collaboratively and under pressure - Availability to work flexible hours Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, and Saturdays according to event schedules. (Sundays are only worked when there is an event; otherwise, all Sundays are days off.)
