This position offers the opportunity to influence and maintain our cloud platforms, focusing on automation, dependability, and scalability. You will work alongside technical teams to promote best practices and drive ongoing improvements. **Responsibilities** * Architect and deploy reusable automation workflows using tools like Terraform or CloudFormation to manage AWS environments * Develop and sustain robust CI/CD processes to streamline application releases and configuration automation * Implement monitoring and alerting frameworks to enhance system visibility and enable proactive incident management * Lead technical teams in setting priorities, defining acceptance standards, and overcoming technical obstacles * Support junior engineers through mentorship and knowledge transfer * Automate governance policies such as security, tagging, and cost optimization to maintain engineering efficiency **Requirements** * At least 5 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering supporting demanding production systems * Minimum one year of experience guiding and supervising development teams * Comprehensive understanding of AWS infrastructure including VPC, IAM, S3, and EC2, with expertise in compute and networking * Proficient in designing, maintaining, and refining CI/CD pipelines for seamless software deployment * Strong grasp of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes/EKS * Advanced skills in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and state management using Terraform * High proficiency in scripting languages, especially Python, for automation and custom tooling * Experience with cloud governance, cost control, and security best practices * Outstanding communication abilities for creating technical documentation and working with diverse teams * Skilled in developing and managing Helm charts for Kubernetes environments * Deep knowledge of building and optimizing container images with Docker * English language proficiency at B2\+ level or above, both written and spoken **Nice to have** * Experience deploying and managing AWS templates with CloudFormation * Familiarity with Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) and Amazon Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) * Strong background in Linux systems for troubleshooting and system management * Understanding of observability and diagnostic methods in distributed architectures * Ability to use scripting languages such as Python, Go, or Bash for advanced automation tasks * Experience with monitoring solutions like Datadog, Splunk, or Grafana for system performance and analytics
