The quality technician is responsible for conducting various tests and/or necessary adjustments to verify and ensure that products meet customer specifications and quality standards. Likewise, supports the work team to maintain area indicators and improve productivity without accidents. **Essential obligations and responsibilities** * Conducts standard tests on production batches and on certain incoming raw materials as needed, ensuring compliance with Avient and customer specifications. * Acts as a technical resource for production by addressing quality issues related to production batches. * Makes recommendations to production and may develop adjustments to manufactured batches to meet agreed specifications. * Records test results in SAP. Maintains reference files. * Performs methods, analytical and experimental protocols described in quality procedures in an accurate and reproducible manner. * Completes and maintains all required paperwork, records, documents, etc. * Ensures that all testing instruments and equipment are verified. * May participate in complaint investigations and corrective actions as necessary. * Supports the design/operations area in tasks that can be performed and for which training has been received. * Develops and maintains a safe working environment and good cleanliness conditions. * Generates improvement ideas in procedures that enable continuous improvement and cost savings for the organization. * Attends and participates in training opportunities and relevant seminars for this position.
