Transform platform into an autonomous, cell-based model We are seeking a **Senior DevOps Engineer** **(GCP)** to drive the modernization and automation of our Compute\-as\-a\-Service platform, focusing on scalable, secure and AI\-assisted operations across multi\-cloud environments. This role is integral to transforming our platform into an autonomous, cell\-based model and requires collaboration with global teams, including on\-call support and business hour overlap with the US, UK and AU regions. **Responsibilities** * Automate build, patching, upgrade, migration and repave workflows across multi\-cloud compute environments * Develop and manage end\-to\-end automated deployment pipelines, including environment readiness, rollback planning and post\-deployment validation * Automate management of compute/server resources such as CPU, RAM and storage, including performance monitoring, right\-sizing and lifecycle management using Terraform and Ansible * Implement automation for security compliance, patch management and vulnerability remediation * Optimize infrastructure utilization and spend through intelligent orchestration and monitoring * Modernize Compute as a Service into an autonomous, AI\-assisted, cell\-based architecture leveraging GenAI and data\-driven automation * Support on\-call operations and collaborate with teams across US, UK and AU business hours as required **Requirements** * 3\+ years of working experience in DevOps or cloud platform engineering roles * Expertise in Google Cloud Platform * Proficiency in automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible * Knowledge of multi\-cloud compute environments and automated deployment pipelines * Skills in performance monitoring, right\-sizing and lifecycle management of compute/server resources * Understanding of security compliance, patch management and vulnerability remediation in cloud environments * Capability to optimize infrastructure utilization and orchestrate intelligent monitoring solutions * Flexibility to provide on\-call support and overlap with global business hours * Upper\-Intermediate English language proficiency (B2\)
