Our Machinery team is seeking a **Technical Machinery / Forklift Trainer (Chía)** to join Inchcape **Colombia**. The purpose of this role is to execute and strengthen the company’s technical training plan, ensuring proper knowledge transfer on forklifts and Material Handling equipment. This role aims to develop the technical competencies of operational and administrative staff, promoting best practices, safety, operational efficiency, and alignment with manufacturer standards. **What You’ll Do** * Execute the annual technical training plan, ensuring its correct implementation and follow-up. * Design, prepare, and deliver technical and product training on forklifts and Material Handling equipment (forklifts, pallet trucks, stackers, narrow-aisle trucks, among others). * Deliver technical talks, inductions, and refresher sessions to operational and administrative staff in a clear, structured, and didactic manner. * Act as a technical trainer, facilitating both practical and theoretical learning, adapting content according to participants’ knowledge level. * Support standardization of technical processes and best practices in operation, maintenance, and safety. * Assess trained staff’s knowledge level, identifying gaps and proposing improvement plans. * Stay up to date on new technologies, products, and manufacturers’ technical guidelines. * Support the technical department when field accompaniment is required as formative reinforcement. * Additionally, other duties necessary to fulfill the purpose of the position may be assigned. **About You** **To succeed in this role, you’ll need:** * Technical or technological qualification, or final-semester student, in Mechanics or Electromechanics. * Minimum 2 years’ experience with machinery in similar roles such as instructor, trainer, or technical trainer. * Knowledge of equipment operation, maintenance, safety, and functionality. * Proficiency in Excel, databases, and SAP. * Intermediate English level or currently undergoing training. **What We Offer** At Inchcape, we are building the future of mobility—and we invite you to build it with us.
